Terms & Conditions – AKT Oprah Competition (the “Competition”)

  1. a) NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. By participating in the Competition, you (i) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Promoter (as defined below), which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition. 

  1. b) The Competition is organized by AKT London, 1007 North Orange St, 4th Floor Ste 1382, Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware, 19801, United States (“the Promoter”).

  1. c) To enter, subscribe to the AKT newsletter via the submission form on https://us.aktlondon.com/pages/akt-oprah-competition with your name and email address. Entrants who also subscribe to SMS will receive an additional entry. A maximum of two entries per person is allowed. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

  1. d) Entries will be accepted from September 16, 2024 to October 14, 2024 ("Promotion Period"). Late entries will not be considered.

  1. e) Five winners will be selected at random from all valid entries. Each winner will receive 1 x The Principals Set (worth $101). The Promoter’s decision regarding the winners is final. Any applicable taxes on the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

  1. f) Winners will be notified via email by October 16, 2024. 

  1. g) The prize will be provided as a coupon code for 100% off The Principals Set, including free shipping, redeemable on the AKT US website. The coupon code must be used by the date specified in the winner email; otherwise, it will expire, and the prize will be forfeited.

  1. h) The prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and not for resale. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

  1. i) The Competition is open to US residents aged 18+. Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter.

  1. j) The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incorrect contact information provided by entrants or any technical issues that prevent entries from being received or winners from being notified.

  1. k) Entrants’ details will be retained and managed according to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at aktlondon.com/policies/privacy-policy, in compliance with relevant US data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

  1. l) The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Promotion with or without prior notice. Entrants agree that all matters arising out of or relating to the Competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United States, without giving effect to any conflict of laws provisions thereof.

  1. m) The Promoter is not liable for any failure to fulfill the Competition or award the prize due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters or other events of force majeure.

  1. n) Any tampering with the entry process or use of automated methods to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

  1. o) The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in disruptive behavior.

  1. p) The Competition is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook or Meta. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Meta. By entering, you release these platforms from any claims related to the Competition.

  1. q) Any complaints arising out of the Competition or these Terms and Conditions should be directed to The Front of House team by logging a ticket via the Help Centre or emailing customer@aktlondon.com.

  1. r) The Promoter shall comply with its obligations under the terms of any applicable data protection legislation, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other relevant US data protection laws, legislation, and regulations.

  1. s) The Competition and these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the United Stats. The courts of the United States shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the Competition and these Terms and Conditions.
