The Deodorant Balm SC.02

I already knew I liked the "After Thunder" deodorant because I had previously ordered the Discovery set (which I highly recommend - the scent of the product in the tube smells a bit different than when it's on your body). The scent is absolutely lovely (The Onsen and Halcyon Summers are also lovely scents), I have no odor for 24+ hours (which was underheard of with the other deodorants I have tried in the past - Dove women's stick/spray, Dove men's stick/spray, Secret, Old Spice, House of Balance roll-on probiotic deodorant, Lume body wash/all-over body deodorant, washing with chlorhexidine, Helmm, Bella Skin Beauty deodorant enhancer, the list goes on), I stay dry all day, it applies easily and smoothly, doesn't leave stains on my clothes, has no plastic in the packaging, is recyclable, and ships quickly. What's not to like? Based on how full the tube is, I think I'll have to extend the time before my next subscription delivery. A little really goes a long way, and you really get your money's worth. I will say that there is a learning curve to using the Assistant. I wish I had watched a video tutorial before I started futzing with it. I think the trick is you have to use a bit of the product first and create some space at the end of the tube for the Assistant to hold onto before you can use the tool to roll the tube. But now that I've got it working properly, it is really handy and worth investing in. I have only positive, glowing things to say about this product and this company as a whole. Cannot recommend it/them enough.

Absolutely blown away by how amazing this deodorant is. I’ve put it through normal busy days as a mom of twins and through big run and workout days. I love the smells. My only problem is trying to choose which one I love the most!

I was a little unsure how it would turn out for me as I’m constantly moving through nyc and dancing. It kept everything fresh and even stopped more sweating than I thought something without aluminum could! Just bought a second tube!

First, I love the smell of SC.02. Second, this deodorant balm keeps me smelling fresh the whole day, even if I sweat (and I do have a sweating problem). It's pretty easy to apply with your finger, and I must say that a tube lasted me 5 months (only used it on my armpits).

To start, my wife has a very keen sense of smell, as well as a talent for oddly hilarious turns of phrase. Some people just have it all I guess! This will all become relevant in a moment, I promise.

I had been seeing AKT all over my feed, and I have been eager to try and find a signature deodorant scent, because life is too short not to romanticize everything, including personal beauty products! So I decided to get The Discovery Set to find out! This is the part where I also mention that my wife smells my pits every morning, well, because she’s a freak. Anyways, I digress…

As I’ve been trying on the discovery scents, she has been delighted, and inspired it seems. “Mmm Eucalyptus candy!” she cooed after sniffing “After Thunder”. Don’t know how that would taste, but it is rather apt imo. “Ooo hot sexy garden salad armpits! Delicious!” she shouted after getting a whiff of “Halcyon Summers”. Who wouldn’t want to be considered a sexy summer salad in their wife’s eyes...or nose? “I want to go to there” she said, after smelling “The Onsen”. I too would love to be transported to a Japanese Onsen, so accepting a Ratatouille moment with AKT Deodorant Balm is the next best thing!

No matter the scent, my wife, and myself for that matter, loved them all! The clean ingredients and sustainable packaging were the cherry on top. The Onsen might be a current contender, but for now, all I can say is that AKT’s Discovery Set has been a fun and invigorating experience, and no matter which scent I end up choosing, I know it will inspire my wife’s hyperbole for many years to come!
