To start, my wife has a very keen sense of smell, as well as a talent for oddly hilarious turns of phrase. Some people just have it all I guess! This will all become relevant in a moment, I promise.
I had been seeing AKT all over my feed, and I have been eager to try and find a signature deodorant scent, because life is too short not to romanticize everything, including personal beauty products! So I decided to get The Discovery Set to find out! This is the part where I also mention that my wife smells my pits every morning, well, because she’s a freak. Anyways, I digress…
As I’ve been trying on the discovery scents, she has been delighted, and inspired it seems. “Mmm Eucalyptus candy!” she cooed after sniffing “After Thunder”. Don’t know how that would taste, but it is rather apt imo. “Ooo hot sexy garden salad armpits! Delicious!” she shouted after getting a whiff of “Halcyon Summers”. Who wouldn’t want to be considered a sexy summer salad in their wife’s eyes...or nose? “I want to go to there” she said, after smelling “The Onsen”. I too would love to be transported to a Japanese Onsen, so accepting a Ratatouille moment with AKT Deodorant Balm is the next best thing!
No matter the scent, my wife, and myself for that matter, loved them all! The clean ingredients and sustainable packaging were the cherry on top. The Onsen might be a current contender, but for now, all I can say is that AKT’s Discovery Set has been a fun and invigorating experience, and no matter which scent I end up choosing, I know it will inspire my wife’s hyperbole for many years to come!
