AKT: THE AWARDS
The past year has been incredibly exciting for AKT. Not only did we launch our ‘Prepare To Perform’ collection in SC.01 and SC.02, but we recently just expanded the range with our entire line-up of scents. We’ve remained as the UK’s most awarded deodorant, and have scooped a whopping 12 awards in the U.S.!
Let’s take a moment to recap our recent accolades.
OUR MOST RECENTS
“The Body Wash Concentrate will give you the most luxurious lather while replenishing your skin.” (TZR, 2024)
Our game-changing Body Wash Concentrate is already making waves. Recently crowned ‘The Best Hydrating Body Wash’ by The Zoe Report, they highlighted, “The water-free formula leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, whether you’re dealing with dryness from the cold climate or experience it year-round” (TZR, 2024).
“This natural deodorant keeps you fresh and door-free all day long” (Cosmopolitan, 2025)
First, Cosmopolitan UK awarded us ‘Best Deodorant’ in 2022. It was only a matter of time before Cosmopolitan US did the same. “Note the plastic free packaging (…) I was really skeptical when this deodorant came in a squeeze tube, but it works SO well and I love the scents it comes in” (Cosmopolitan, 2025).
We’re blushing, and the year has only just begun!
A HIT IN THE UK
Since our launch, AKT has swept most of the UK deodorant awards.
Men’s Health recently awarded us ‘The Best Deodorant’. In the Get The Gloss Wellness Awards 2024, we took home the Gold for Best Natural Deodorant, praised for its luxurious fragrance and versatility across the body. Women’s Health UK awarded us ‘Best Deodorant’ in their 2024 Skincare Awards under the bet in (gym) bag category. The Condé Nast Traveller Beauty Awards 2024 included our deodorant balm in the best body products for travel section.
We were also recognised as one of the Walpole Brands of Tomorrow 2023, highlighting our commitment to sustainability. Our Deodorant Balm was honoured with the Tatler award for Best In Body. GQ Grooming Awards hailed our deodorant as “revolutionary.”
Who What Wear awarded us ‘Next in Beauty, Best In Class’ for the show stopping efficiency of The Deodorant Balm.
Our SC.03 deodorant also claimed the top spot in the RED Beauty Awards as the best deodorant, and Marie Claire awarded us ‘Best Sustainable Deodorant’.
A U.S. SENSATION
The standing ovations don’t stop at home. Across the pond, AKT is quickly becoming a staple body-care essential.
Blue Print awarded us ‘The Best Grooming Product for Men’, with a special shout-out to Halcyon Summers scent.
We’ve also been featured in Robb Report US, who praised The Deodorant Balm for its natural and soothing ingredients. Additionally, we were featured in ELLE US Magazine, and InStyle US declared The Deodorant Balm “one of the most exciting innovations they’ve come across in the underarm realm.”
The recognition doesn’t stop there! AKT London won in the Shape Skin Awards 2024 for Best Deodorant. Our Deodorant Balm was also commended in the Zoe Report’s 2024 Eco-Friendly Beauty Heroes Awards as ‘The odour-zapping whole-body deodorant’.
THE BEST SUSTAINABLE DEODORANT
Our environmental commitment to creating an effective and natural deodorant extends beyond the balm. Designing practical and eco-friendly packaging was also one of our top priorities. This effort granted us the Blue Beauty Packaging Innovation Award for developing the mono-material aluminium sample tube and cap used in our mini deodorants.
